Candy Design & Works re-use the designs and specs of past industrial products and hardware and express them in a modern way with a unique feel. Techniques that were done by hand at the time have now been mechanised, and the quality of the products themselves may have improved. However, they feel that the original goodness of this technique, its unique roughness and distortion, has been lost.

Candy Design & Works expresses the original goodness of the material and the unique roughness of the processing as much as possible, and releases products that may be a little difficult to use, but that will become more loveable as they age.
