The Riess Iron Frying Pan reflects more than 450 years of Austrian cookware making. Long before Riess became renowned for enamelware, the company was crafting iron pans designed for hardworking kitchens and open fires.

Made from cold-forged steel, each pan is shaped under high pressure to create a durable cooking surface that excels at high-heat cooking. Iron’s excellent heat conductivity makes it ideal for searing meat, frying potatoes, and achieving the crisp, caramelised results that are difficult to replicate with other cookware.

With regular use, the pan develops a natural patina as oils are absorbed into the surface. This seasoning improves its non-stick qualities, enhances cooking performance, and helps protect against corrosion. Over time, the pan becomes uniquely yours, growing better with age and use.

Care: before first use, remove the protective wax coating and season the pan to develop its natural patina. Hand wash only and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
