Bruny Island Soap

Soaps handmade by Michele in Adventure Bay, Bruny Island, using natural and sustainable ingredients. 

 

Michele's base recipe is made with olive oil, coconut oil, certified sustainable palm oil, water, sodium hydroxide and essential oils. This creates a hard, long-lasting bar that will leave your skin soft and clean. She doesn’t use unnecessary ingredients that do not belong in soap.

 

Michele uses sustainably sourced ingredients from Bruny Island where possible. She also grow or collect many of her ingredients: sheoak pods to make her own charcoal, poppyseeds and violet leaves from her garden, spent coffee grounds from her kitchen and she gathers Sassafras leaves from the forest above Adventure Bay.
