Collection: Fog Linen Work

We fell in love with this brand on first sight. Years ago, we stocked some of their stationery at our sister store Flywheel, and always said that if we ever had a homewares store, Fog Linen Work would be on the shelves. Fast forward a number of years, and we finally had that homewares store and could stock their range at last. We love the quiet beauty, honesty and usefulness of this brand, and the sense of stillness and understated style it brings.

Founded in Tokyo in the late 1990s by Yumiko Sekine, Fog Linen Work blends pure, natural linen with the ease of Japanese design. Sekine's search for the linen goods of her childhood led her to Lithuania, a country that has grown flax and woven linen since the Middle Ages, where the brand's textiles are still produced today. Simple, unfussy and made for everyday life — pieces designed to be quietly beautiful and endlessly useful.
