Japanese Porcelain Juicer

This Japanese artisan added a pot with a handle to the familiar lemon squeezer.  Freshly squeezed fruit juice can be served directly to your table. The material of the juicer is Amakusa pottery stone from Kumamoto Prefecture.  It is made entirely of domestic porcelain, fired in a kiln in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture. 

After repeated experiments, the maker devised the shape of the squeezer so that you can squeeze out every last drop without stress.  The seeds remain in the saucer, so you can filter out the juice.  The pot part can hold the juice of one lemon and still has enough capacity. 

You can also make your own original dressings, sauces, and sauces by combining squeezed fruit juice, soy sauce, sake, and dashi.  In addition, the spout on the pot has a thinner glaze than other parts of the main body, making it easy to cut and prevents dripping.
