Welcome to the wonderfully whimsical world of The Printed Peanut, where everyday objects become bright, bold little bursts of joy. In this special collaboration with illustrator and printmaker Louise Lockhart, Archivist transformed the humble matchbox into a pocket-sized piece of art—full of character, colour, and vintage charm.

Drawing inspiration from retro print ephemera and the curious delights of tiny supermarkets discovered on Louise’s travels, each design is a celebration of the playful and the nostalgic. These matchboxes are made to be noticed—whether perched next to a flickering candle or wrapped up as the most unexpected (and completely delightful) little gift.
