Toyama Hamono Handmade Japanese Secateurs Large Handle 200mm

Made by Toyama Hamono, these secateurs are crafted for precise, everyday pruning. Forged in Japan, they deliver a clean, sharp cut, helping to maintain the health of plants and stems.

Toyama Hamono has specialised in pruning shears and secateurs since the early 1860s. The drop-forged handles are shaped for strength and balance, while the blade is sharpened to a convex edge for smooth, efficient cutting.

The large handle model of secateurs is unique in that it has been manufactured with a handle that is much wider and has a much gentler radius, than its regularly sized counterparts, perfect for large hands.  It is extremely gentle on the fingers throughout a long pruning session.
