Penelope Durston Angora and Lambswool Fingerless Gloves Old Gold
Penelope Durston Angora and Lambswool Fingerless Gloves Old Gold
These medium length cuff fingerless gloves by Penny Durston are made from angora (40%) and lambswool (60%) yarn specially spun for in New Zealand. The yarn is spun in the natural cream colour of the fibre and once knitted hand dyed in small batches.
Knitted with a Japanese lycra yarn these gloves have a great stretch and will fit a wide range of hands and are our go-to gloves for larger hands. In addition, the Japanese lycra means the gloves will hold its shape and have a long life, to give the gloves stretch and return, and to fit a wide range of hand sizes. The cuff is stabilised with an elastic yarn.
The gloves have not been washed to their full fluff and this will develop with wear and washing. Please be aware that as with most pieces with a fluffy pile this will gradually wear away or pill with use. This is a natural characteristic of both lambswool and angora fibres. Don’t view this as a fault but as a metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life.
Adult fingerless gloves will fit a wide range of hand sizes, they will feel firm to start with but will relax with wear.
